Baileys Cottage is a super, spacious holiday cottage situated on a quiet lane in the heart of the desirable village of Ascott-Under-Wychwood, itself in the central Cotswolds. The property has been furnished in a traditional style making the most of the period features, including exposed walls, beams and a wood burner. The cottage is detached and includes a wonderful, large kitchen / dining room - perfect for a classic family get-together. The village has a small local shop and pub (The Swan) and is only a short distance from Burford, Chipping Norton and many other Cotswold locations.
ACCOMMODATION
Entrance into hallway with two living rooms and kitchen set off.
Large Kitchen / Dining Room with dishwasher, large fridge / freezer, microwave, electric hob and oven, leading to good sized dining area with table comfortably seating six people.
Main Living Room, large room with two comfortable sofas and easy chair and doors to garden. There is also a portable TV and video.
Living Room Two, with sofa and games plus period old bread-oven (disused)!
Cloakroom with WC and washbasin
Utility Room with washing machine, tumble drier and doors to garden.
Upstairs
Master Bedroom with large double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bedroom Two with double bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers.
Bedroom Three with twin bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom with bath and shower over bath, WC and washbasin.
Outside
Garden with small seating area and small lawned area.
No Pets. No Smokers. Children welcome. Any day changeover except in High Season.
Heating and electricity included all year. Off street parking close to the property.
Close by are beauty spots such as Burford, Stow on the Wold, The Slaughters and Bourton-on-the-Water making this the perfect holiday cottage from which to tour The Cotswolds. Trains from Charlbury Station to Oxford and London are just a ten minute drive away.
