The Bakehouse is a quaint holiday cottage located in the centre of the village of Aston, a lovely spot set in the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds countryside. The cottage, once the local bakery has been well restored to provide comfortable holiday accommodation in a peaceful environment. Internally the cottage retains the charm and character of the original period building mixed with furnishings of a traditional style. Of particular appeal is the large garden and courtyard with ornamental pond and built in barbecue to the side and rear of the property. The cottage is located close to Oxford, Burford and the Cotswolds plus other locations such as Woodstock and a multitude of other local attractions, The Bakehouse is the ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area. In our opinion this is a basic holiday cottage that provides superb value for money and there is a pub and shop about 50 yards away!
