Bullens Bank Cottage is a holiday property which has one of the most spectacular views imaginable. It is, literally, amazing. Situated on the edge of the hillside it looks out towards some stunning English countryside, for miles and miles. Internally this holiday cottage is very cosy and traditional: secluded, low ceilings plus wood burning stoves all adding to the appeal of this 200 year old building. The cottage is surrounded by a private garden and fields. This cottage is astonishing for its view alone but also offers superb value for money. The owners also have another property about 100 yards away down the hill, ideal for slightly larger groups, called Llangain.

Important Note: the property is reached via a steep stone track which is not suitable for 'low-profile' sports cars.

Locally the area is highly regarded for walking with popular spots such as the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park nearby. Hay-on-Wye, the second hand book centre of the world is 3 miles to the west, well supplied with eating-places. Swimming and canoeing on the Wye are excellent and pony trekking is available from several centres near Hay and in the Llanthony Valley. Windsurfing, sailing and boating are available at Llangorse Lake. The Black Mountains Gliding Club is near Talgarth and there are microlights at Shobden Airfield. There are parascending courses on Hay Bluff too. Those who prefer not to drive up the steep track to the property can easily park off the road at the bottom though we have recently had quite a lot of work done on the track.
