Church Cottage is one of those unique holiday cottages which come along only once in a while! Located in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold town of Burford, and right next to the famous 14th/15th Century church (described as the finest in Oxfordshire) this classic Cotswold cottage has everything to make your holiday pleasurable. Internally the cottage has been recently refurbished and provides a holiday home with character, charm and style: light, airy and comfortable, with hints of the ‘Art-Deco’ period when the house was built. Externally the house has an enviable location at the end of a no-through lane and overlooking the Norman Tower and West door of the church. There is also a pretty, enclosed garden and (of course) is only a few minutes walk from restarants and shops too. In our opinion this is a superb, high standard holiday cottage in a prime position.

Designed in 1937 by Russell-Cox, the well-known Cotswolds architect, and one of only two houses built in Burford between the Wars, Church Cottage was renovated and extended in 2002 and is now in excellent condition throughout. Burford is an ideal centre for visiting The Cotswolds area as it is within easy driving distance of popular attractions such as Blenheim Palace, Sudley Castle, Warwick Castle and several National Trust Houses and Gardens. Bourton on the Water, Bibury, Cirencester and Stow on the Wold are all with 25 minutes from the property.
