Cleeveley Cottage is an utterly charming II Listed Cotswold Cottage set in one of the most picturesque villages imaginable. This holiday home, which dates back to the 16th Century, is an excellent example of an owner taking time and care to create a stunning cottage where considerable thought has gone into every detail. Internally the house has many period features including a Tudor stone fireplace with woodburning stove, mullion windows and flagstone floors all of which create a real sense of character. Externally the cottage enjoys a quiet location down a no-through lane in the village, with an enclosed cottage garden to its rear. The hamlet of Holwell is a few miles from Burford one of the Cotswolds' finest destinations. The village is accessed down a beautiful single track lane, which simply took our breath away when we inspected the cottage. We fell in love with this cottage and are quite sure you will too!

ACCOMMODATION
Entrance through to lobby through to open plan living space.
Living/Dining Room, full of character, with large sofa, armchair, fireplace with wood burning stove, large flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player and ipod docking station. There is a dining table that comfortably sits 4. There is a door to the cottage garden
Kitchen, fully equipped, with electric double oven and hob, microwave, washing machine / tumble drier, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. 

First Floor:
Approached via the original wooden, now carpetted, spiral staircase leading from the living room to the upstairs landing.
Bedroom One has a King size wrought iron double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers plus a LCD TV with Freeview. 
Family Bathroom a lovely and spacious room with a bath, separate shower, wash basin and WC.

Second Floor:
Approached via the original wooden,now carpetted, spiral staircase!
Snug with additional sofa (turns into sofa bed, for two extra persons, charged at £40 per person, per week or per stay) plus a large 37" Plasma TV with Freeview and DVD player.

Bedroom Two a lovely, vaulted room with views across the village, two single beds wardrobe

Outside,
There is an enclosed, walled cottage garden with bench and seating, BBQ. as you would expect this is very peaceful! 

Friday Changeover please. Children Welcome. 2 Cots & 1 High Chair available. WiFi available through the cottage. An initial supply of wood is provided for the wood burning stove.

Sorry No Pets 

Holwell is a little village located approximately 3 miles from Burford. It is sits amidst rolling and partially wooded countryside, and is ideal for either simply relaxing or for touring the many attractions of the Cotswolds. Of particular interest and very close, is the Cotswold Wildlife Park which is literally at the end of the road! Although there is a wide variety of animals, there are also lovely gardens for you to enjoy. Slightly further afield are the popular Cotsold locations of Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold and Cirecncester. For a day trip why not consider Oxford or Cheltenham, Stratford Upon Avon or Bath all of which are within a reasonable drive.
