Newbury Cottage is a well situated, end of terrace cottage located close to the centre of Bourton on the Water - the everpopular and picturesque Cotswold village. It is an ideal location for families with children or those wishing to be within very easy walking distance of village facilities and attractions. The cottage dates back 230 years and retains its beamed character and Cotswold stone fireplace, whilst being sympathetically modernised in recent years. It is presented is a traditional style and is both cosy and comfortable. A Cotswold cottage in a quintessential village that certainly that represents good value.

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance through to small lobby area
Kitchen, well equipped with electric hob and oven, large fridge with freezer and microwave, breakfast bar with stools and antique pine dresser. 
Leading through to Conservatory with table and four chairs (with electric heating) Please note that there is a washing machine in the 'laundry shed'.
Living Room, a very cosy room with sofa and two arm chairs, gatelegged table, Cotswold stone fireplace, TV and DVD player.

First Floor
Bedroom One with double bed, cupboard for hanging, and chest of drawers
Bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and wasbasin.
Office with travel cot and single futon

Second Floor
Bedroom Two, as attic room with two single beds, hanging cupboard and child safety board.

Outside
There is a small cottage garden to the rear accessed from the conservatory. Laundry Shed with washing machine, coal & kindling for fire and chairs for garden use.There is a larger shared garden with a large lawned area which is shared with 3 neighbouring cottages. (Gate with mesh for dog safety) Parking for one car in the car port area.

Friday Changeover please. Pets Welcome, but please be considerate. Cot supplied. Off-street parking for one car.

Heating & Electricity Included. Please No Short Breaks in the peak summer months.

Bourton on the Water is known as the Venice of the Cotswolds with small bridges crossing the River Windrush, making it a superb spot to sit, feed ducks and enjoy pub food or local cafes. Walking in the area is superb with many footpaths passing through attractive villages and along the rivers and streams; quarry lakes with lots of wildlife. The village boasts the well known Motor Museum (home of Brum), the Model Village, Birdland and Model Railway Exhibition. A superb location in all respects. (There are local buses running to Cheltenham, Stow on the Wold and Cirencester just 200 yards for the cottage. Needless to say many pretty villages such as Bibury, Lower Slaughter, Upper Slaughter, Blockley are all nearby. Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Cheltenham are all nearby.
