Paradise Cottage (Visit Britain 3 Star rated) is a lovely and delightful cottage set in a lovely location overlooking fields and coutryside. A recently converted 'Shepherd's Retreat', the property sits on a working farm and is surrounded by stunning northern Cotswolds countryside. Nearby are some lovely villages, including none other than Ilmington - a glorious Cotswolds village with two pubs and village shop. Paradise Cottage is situated just 5 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon making it ideal for visiting the many Shakespeare attractions. Internally the cottage is full of character with beams and wooden floors and well presented with all mod cons as one would expect. A most romantic hideaway just for 2 - paradise indeed!

Crimscote lies a few miles to the north of Ilmington, itself a charming village situated in the very South of Warwickshire, but within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Beauty. They approximately 5 miles north-east of Chipping Campden and 5 miles south of Stratford on Avon and very close to the borders of three other counties - Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire. Ilmington is a beautiful village mainly built of warm honey coloured local Cotswolds limestone nestling at the foot of the Campden hills. It is totally unspoilt with old stone cottages and a village green, the village shop and the old church.
There is a restored Manor House, the beautiful gardens of which are normally open to the public twice a year. There are two very good Inns, the Howard Arms and the Red Lion.
