Round Cottage is an absolutely fabulous holiday cottage, set within one of the Cotswolds' finest and picturesque villages. This self catering cottage has undergone complete renovation by the owners creating a simply beautiful holiday home absolutely ideal for those who wish to relax and escape to an idyllic setting. The village itself has many traditional Cotswolds houses along with open countryside surrounding - an outstanding location without any question. Internally the cottage is presented to a very high specification with consideration given to all elements that will make your stay a memorable and enjoyable one. The spacious kitchen/diner overlooking the cottage garden is a particularly appealing aspect. As you would expect the cottage retains many Cotswolds' features, including beams and woodburning stove which when mixed with the contemporary touches give the home such an attractive appeal. Externally there is good size, private garden while the excellent local pub is just a stroll around the corner. A truly superb cottage that we thoroughly recommend.

Asthall is one of the most desirable villages within the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. It has a long history dating back to the Roman times, when it was on the original 'Akeman Street' - the road which linked Cirencester to St Albans in the Roman era. In more recent times it become famous when the Mitford sisters moved to the Elizabethan manor in the village. It was in the village that Nancy wrote 'Love in a Cold Climate' (she is buried in the churchyard at nearby Swinbrook). The village is in the Windrush Valley is approximately 2 miles from Burford. It is very convenient for Oxford and is an excellent base from which to tour the Cotswolds' region. Popular locations such as Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Cirencester are all within a short drive.
