Snipe Barn, Chimney, (5 Star Gold Visit Britain) is a stunning, cool and contemporary barn conversion set in a simply beautiful corner of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds' countryside. We believe that it is perfect for large families or groups who prefer space to spread out and relax. Set within the Chimney Nature Reserve, the location is ideal and convenient for Burford, Oxford and Cheltenham all being within an easy and reasonably short drive. Internally the barn has been modified to an exceptional standard and provides an excellent level of accommodation, with large rooms throughout and all mod cons included. In our opinion Snipe Barn is right for family or friend 'get-together's' and is sure to be a very popular choice for discerning guests.

Living Room, a large room with three sofas (one a sofa bed*) and chairs, wood burning stove, a giant beanbag(!), TV and DVD player with views overlooking the private courtyard
Kitchen / Diner (another) large room with seating for up to twelve people around a refectory table plus a second kitchen table (adults and children!) with Kitchen fully equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler. Beautiful granite worksurfaces including island throughout. Doors to private paddock area
Utility Room with sink, washing machine and separate tumble drier. Hanging space. Please note that the fuse box and boiler are located here.

Please note that bedrooms five and six are attached to Snipe Barn, but are accessed across the courtyard (approx 6 steps!).

Outside there is a good size courtyard (see image) which is enclosed and safe for children. Beyond this there is ample space across the owner's land, which includes a small river and a couple of ponds, parents please note.

Friday Changeover please, but will consider other days. Pets considered at a charge of £50, per pet, per week. Off street parking. Cot & High Chair available

*Additional 4 persons sleeping on single beds in the two family rooms or on
the sofa bed charged out at supplement of £75 per person per stay. (Please note that Snipe Barn is currently 4 double bedrooms but we are adding two additional separately accessed annex bedrooms this winter and therefore as of 2012 it will be 6 double bedrooms with 4 en-suite bathrooms).
Mid Week rate prices (@ 50%; 4 night mid-week @ 60%)

Please Note: The owner requests that ONLY full week breaks be booked in Bank Holidays and School Holidays, short breaks are welcome otherwise. 

There is a £300 security / damages deposit required when booking this property, payable by bank transfer to the owner a month in advance of arrival.
