Stockbridge Cottage is a glorious and spacious Grade II listed Cotswold cottage. Hidden down a quiet lane and full of charm and character, this detached cottage is well-appointed with many classic features throughout including mullioned windows and a woodburner. There is a excellent kitchen, as well as a sheltered terrace (with garden furniture and a barbecue) plus a lawned area and flower beds. Unsurprisingly customers' comments have been glowing ('fantastic', 'perfect haven' and 'perfect place to escape in the Cotswolds'!) A real quality holiday cottage in our opinion.
Evenlode is a classic Cotswold village (see pictures): beautiful and peaceful. It is located between Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh, both of which have an excellent variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are two good pubs within 1 1/2 miles.
Accommodation:
Front door to Dining Hall with Cotswold stone floor with large dining table. Door to private terrace/garden.
Vast Kitchen/Dining room fully equipped with range cooker, American style fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher. (Tumble dryer in stable.)
Sitting Room with comfortable sofas, armchairs, and a woodburner.
Excellent collection of videos and DVDs for a night in!
Upstairs:
Bedroom One with large double bed and Ensuite Shower Room, WC and washbasin.
Bedroom Two with double bed.
Bedroom Three with two single beds.
Family bathroom with bath, WC and wash basin.

There is a good sized garden to the side of the property with table and chairs. (The cottage is in the grounds of the owner's home and the gardens and therefore only part of the gardens are available for use by customers.)
Central heating & electricity included all year. Initial basket of logs provided free of charge. Cot and high chair available.
No Pets. No Smokers. Friday changeover. Please No Short Breaks May-Sept.
The cottage is centrally placed for visiting many places of interest including Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle, Hidcote Manor Gardens, Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford and Oxford. Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Cirencester are also easily reached by car.
