Tewer Cottage is a very welcoming Cotswold cottage located down a very quiet little lane in a pleasant village approximately 4 miles from Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. The cottage, which dates back over 200 years in parts, is well presented throughout and has recently had a new period extension added creating a spacious kitchen/dining area ideal for entertaining. Internally the cottage is in excellent condition, with many traditional and period Cotswold features including beams and an all important woodburning stove. Externally it has the benefit of an enclosed garden and access to fabulous walks across the countryside, including the Oxfordshire Way which runs past this village. There is a pub in the village, plus a local shop all combining together to make this a throughly English country cottage. This cottage is ideal for families wishing to get away to a convenient cottage or equally suitable for couples who wish to enjoy some peace and relaxation - a great choice!

Entrance through to living room
Living Room with two sofas, woodburning stove, TV with Freeview, DVD player and stairs leading to first floor
Kitchen / Dining Room, a lovely large room, with french doors leading to the garden. Fully equipped with gas range and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge and freezer. The dining table is large and comfortably seats 6 people.

First Floor
Bedroom One with double bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers plus Ensuite Bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin
Bedroom Two with double bed and chest of drawers.
Bathroom Two with bath, handheld shower, WC and washbasin
Bedroom Three with single bed plus fixed cot for babies.

Outside
There is an enclosed garden to the side of the cottage with table and chairs for enjoying an outdoor meal. The cottage is on a little lane which leads to the road which passes through the village. The countryside is there to be seen and literally just a minutes' walk from your door!

Friday changeover is preferred and requested. Strictly No Short Breaks all year.

Stonesfield is a bustling village on the edge of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with a history that dates back to the Domesday Book. Today it is a family driven village with many facilities, including a traditional local pub, shop and post office and hairdressers(!) It is very convenient for Woodstock and Blenheim Palace which are just a few miles away. It is also approx 20 mins from the heart of Oxford and its attractions with Stratford Upon Avon nearby also. Popular Cotswold attractions such as Bourton on the Water, Burford and Stow on the Wold are all within a reasonable drive. Further afield are the Cotswold Hills plus many other delightful day trips including the Cotswold Wildlife and Cotswold Farm parks.
