The Cart House is an absolutely lovely holiday cottage, tucked down a quiet lane within a thriving little village in the Northern Cotswolds. Located close and conveniently for Chipping Campden and Stratford upon Avon, this cottage, formerly an old farm barn, is ideal for those who like high quality accommodation in a very peaceful location. Inside the property is in immaculate order lovingly cared for by the owner with many period touches including the all important wood burner! Locally, there are many attractions within a short and easy drive plus countless walks into the country from your doorstep. In our opinion this is very high quality accommodation in a delightful location at a superb price.

Pebworth is a delightful village located about 6 miles from Chipping Campden, but is better known for its link (apparently) to Shakespeare owing to the fact that he is said to have drank regularly at a pub that once existed in Friday Street. His reference to 'Piping Pebworth' is said to relate to his days of drinking too much in the village. Today the village is a working village with the older part retaining much of the character and feel of previous years. It is convenient for touring all of the northern Cotswolds hot spots including Chipping Campden, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh and many, many other locations. The World Famous Pudding Club is located in the next village at Mickleton! A must see.
