Dairy Cottage, Windrush Valley Farm is an attractive holiday cottage situated in the stunning Cotswolds village of Minster Lovell. the cottage itself is attached the owner's home and sits within 3 acres of gardens which roll down towards the River Windrush and the beautiful village beyond. Internally the cottage is a spacious and charming holiday home with many character features including old timbers and exposed walls and attractive furnishings. Externally the cottage enjoys it's own private and enclosed garden with access to the owners' gardens as well access to an indoor swimming pool and tennis court* and fishing on the river. Locally is the beautiful village which has a small hotel / pub and some tremendous walks into the countryside. The cottage is a superb location for touring the Cotswolds or simply enjoying a relaxing break doing nothing!

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance through to lobby, through to living room which is open to the dining room, but still providing privacy!
Living Room with two large sofas, open fireplace, TV and DVD player.
Dining Room with table and six chairs
Kitchen, well equipped, with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and freezer dishwasher. In the utility room there is a washing machine. There is also a door to the enclosed garden.
Cloakroom/Shower Room with shower, WC and washbasin

First Floor
Master Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and TV
Bedroom Two with single bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bedroom Three with two single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV
Bathroom with bath, handheld shower, WC and washbasin

Outside
The property is surrounded by gardens. To the front there is a small patio area with table and chairs. To the rear is an enclosed grassed garden area which is a good size. Beyond both the front and rear garden areas are additional gardens which include a tennis court and an indoor swimming pool. *Although there is no 'restriction' on the use of these, the owners request that you make contact each time you wish to play! The larger gardens extend down to the River Windrush with lovely views across the village cricket pitch.

Saturday Changeover in School Holidays preferred, Any Day otherwise. Cot and High Chair available. Extra bed available £40 per week or per stay.

Oil fired Central Heating included. Starter pack of logs available. Off street parking. Sorry No Pets (please note owner has her own dog). Please note the swimming pool is available for use from Easter to end of September.

Minster Lovell is located a few miles east of Burford and west of the market town of Witney in Oxfordshire. It is home to the historic ruins of Minster Lovell Hall, which are about 15 mins walk from the cottage. On a typical weekday you would be forgiven for thinking that Minster Lovell is a deserted Oxfordshire village, that's how quiet it can be. Rows of cotswold stone buildings, some with thatched roofs, line the main street that leads to the church and ruins. The village is perfectly located many of the Cotswolds' places of interest, as well as being very convenient for Oxford (20 mins), Stratford upon Avon (40mins) and Warwick (40mins)
