Cotswolds Retreats

The Old Band Room is a wonderful and delightful Cotswold holiday cottage tucked away in the classic Cotswold village of Naunton, itself just a few minutes from the market town of Stow on the Wold. The owners have carefully renovated this property, (which is where military bands from neighbouring villages used to practice around a hundred years ago!) creating a beautifully presented home with many period features, mixed with contemporary touches such as underfloor heating throughout. Homely and welcoming and with a superb village pub (The Black Horse www.blackhorsenaunton.co.uk ) about 30 yards away what more could you want? Thoroughly recommended.

Cheltenham and Cheltenham Races are nearby and very convenient.

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance into open plan ground floor
Living Room with two sofas, wood burning stove (gas) TV, DVD and video.
Kitchen / Diner spacious and well equipped with 5 ring gas cooker and oven, large fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine in utility area. Table and chairs for up to five people

Upstairs
Bedroom One (a lovely room) with double bed, wardrobe and Ensuite Shower Room with shower, wc and washbasin
Bedroom Two with double and single bed, wardrobe. (Please note that for use of extra bed there is an extra charge of £40 per stay or per week)
Bathroom Two with bath, WC and washbasin

Outside
Across the lane the cottage has a private and enclosed garden area which overlooks the (small) upper River Windrush which passes through the village. There is a table and chairs and it is absolutely ideal for sundowners! (Parents please be aware.)

Pets and Children Welcome. Cot & High Chair supplied. Heating and electrity included all year. Wi-Fi available and included. On-Street parking (on quiet road)

Any Day Changeover. Short Breaks welcome, except in High Season when only at short notice

Naunton (some images shown, not to be confused as part of the holiday cottage!) is a sleepy little village nestling in the Windrush Valley full of beautiful cottages and houses most set on the tranquil main street. There are some very scenic walks that start in Naunton taking in the Church and the infant River Windrush as it winds its way through the village. You will be treated to some delightful views of the surrounding countryside on these walks.
